Osian Pryce extends British Rally Championship lead with Grampian win
Motorsport UK says the Welsh driver took maximum British Rally Championship points at the Grampian Forest Rally after finishing fourth overall.
Welsh driver Osian Pryce strengthened his lead in the British Rally Championship by taking maximum points at the Grampian Forest Rally, Motorsport UK said.
Pryce and co-driver James Morgan finished fourth overall at the two-day Banchory event. Motorsport UK said the result put Pryce more than 26 seconds clear of Max McRae and Cameron Fair in the championship field.
The rally also served as round three of the 2026 British Rally Championship and as an FIA candidate event ahead of Rally Scotland's planned return to the World Rally Championship in 2027.
World Rally Championship leader Elfyn Evans and co-driver Scott Martin competed outside the official results while gathering information for Toyota, according to Motorsport UK.
The next rounds will determine whether Pryce can convert his current advantage into the British title; Motorsport UK did not set out a points total or a confirmed date for the next event in this release.
