Cambrian Line journeys rise 13%, Welsh Government says
The government says the line recorded about 150,000 more passenger journeys from January to November 2025 than in the same months of 2024.
The Welsh Government says Cambrian Line passenger numbers were higher in every month from January to November 2025 than in the corresponding month of 2024.
It says the line recorded about 150,000 additional journeys over that period, a 13% rise in total.
The government linked the increase to more train services and additional onboard staffing in the busiest summer months. It said new trains were expected to be introduced from September.
