Motorsport UK opens 2027 Inclusion Grant applications to Welsh groups

Eligible Welsh clubs, charities and not-for-profit initiatives can apply for £100 to £10,000 to support projects that widen participation in motorsport before the 7 August deadline.

Motorsport UK has opened applications for its 2027 Inclusion Grants, a scheme offering between £100 and £10,000 for projects intended to remove barriers to taking part in the sport.

The governing body says the funding is for initiatives that help underrepresented communities compete or volunteer, and may also support projects that grow competition licence holders, esport members, club activity, or the training of marshals and officials.

UK-based registered charities, community interest companies, not-for-profit initiatives and Motorsport UK clubs are among the eligible applicants. That means Welsh organisations meeting those criteria can apply, although awards will be decided through eligibility checks, committee review and final board sign-off.

Motorsport UK says a grant can support a project for up to three years, but recipients must make a new application each year. The deadline given by the organisation is Friday 7 August 2026.
